Duties:

1. Fixed Asset Management: Conducting physical counts of assets to ensure accurate asset records.

2. Tagging and Labelling: Implementing a tagging system for new and existing assets, ensuring each item is appropriately labelled for easy identification.

3. Data Entry and Maintenance: Updating asset register with detailed information about each asset, including location, condition, and ownership.

4. Compliance and Reporting: Ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures regarding asset management and preparing reports for management on asset status, discrepancies, and recommendations.

5. Collaboration: Working with various departments to gather information about assets and to coordinate tagging and verification efforts.

6. Problem Resolution: Investigating discrepancies in asset records and resolving issues related to lost or misplaced items.

7. Documentation: Maintaining accurate documentation of all asset management activities, including changes in asset status or location
